I have seen many people usually spent hours trawling the internet for money making schemes and various money tips and tricks, money making secrets. Follow the example below, where we will be betting on red.

BET: £20 bet on red.

Each time a bet is placed, the amount bet is simply £5 above the total spent. Every time you play you will walk away with £5.

The value of your first bet determines how much you will win. If you start with £1, it looks like this:

BET: £2 bet on red.

There are two problems with the trick so far. First, there is usually a limit on the amount of money you can bet at one time. If you are still getting to grips with this formula for winning, or finding it slightly complicated, skip the next section until you have a better understanding.

If you are still with me, then it gets slightly more complicated avoiding a limit.

Say we look at the first example. Except this time we impose a betting limit of £20. The following is a worst case scenario, we keep losing all the way up to the limit.

BET: £5 bet on red.

RESULT: Lose as Roulette ball ends on black. Leaves balance Total = -£5

BET: £10 bet on red.

RESULT: Lose as Roulette ball ends on black. Leaves balance Total = -£15

BET: £20 bet on red.

RESULT: Lose as Roulette ball ends on black. Leaves balance Total = -£35

Normally a £40 bet would now be placed. With the limit this is impossible.

Keep in mind that we are currently down £35 from above.

We will now place two £20 bets. When two bets are placed, the possible outcomes are as follows:

WIN WIN        WIN LOSE        LOSE WIN        LOSE LOSE

Let’s look at each case individually:

WIN LOSE - we win £20 and lose £20 – we are still down £35

LOSE WIN - we win £20 and lose £20 – we are still down £35

If the outcome is either WIN LOSE or LOSE WIN, we are back in the same position as before. This step should simply be repeated until we get a different outcome.

WIN WIN – we win £40 – we are up £5

This completes the play and we have won our £5.

LOSE LOSE - we lose £40 – we are down £75

If this is the case, we now have to place two pairs of £20 bets. This process simply continues along the tree diagram shown above until we end up winning.

My advice is firstly to find a table / game with either no limit or choose the highest limit you can find. Also, keep your bets much lower than the limit. A starting bet of an eighth of the limit (e.g. with a limit of £20, using an initial bet of £2.50) will be won before having to ‘double bet’ on 15/16 times – 93.75% of the time. Using a starting bet of a sixteenth of the limit (e.g. £1.25 on a £20 limit) will result in winning before having to ‘double bet’ on 31 out of every 32 times – Or 96.8% of the time!

The second problem is that you will be betting in a very recognisable pattern. Some of the bookies, casinos, online gambling sites etc will know if the above trick. They will not hesitate in kicking you out and banning you!

Instead of betting in this pattern: £5, £10, £20, £40, which I will now refer to as a set, we will look at completing several sets at once. Each set will win you your initial bet every time – so in this case – each set will win you £5. Let’s win £40!!

So you will head into your local Ladbrokes or wherever, and place eight bets of £5 on red. You will win about half.

The half that you won (circled with red) count as four sets which have been completed. You will then leave either with a slight loss, break-even, or with a slight gain. Either head to another location available, or return another day. We will now continue with the four sets which are yet to be completed. We continue by placing £10 bets, next in the sequence. Again we will win about half.

Now you are left with just one unfinished set, which you can play through until you win. Congratulations, you are now up £40!
